Trekking: Parongpong through Stunning Valley and People's Garden

Hello, this year I do exercise with hiking around Bandung. Bandung location is surround by mountain and hill, and blessed many trekking opportunity. In this hiking club of Pelita, I can hike and end with gathering with simple dining and free flow drinks. This event gathered around 200 people, and had 40 to 60 years old. I am a young man minority here.

I think this sport is fun, cheap food, challenge sport and always give different impression. You can get sense that near the city of Bandung have many things to offer, very welcome people, nice and cool weather, and have beauty of nature from the mountain, valley or waterfall. I really wish this beauty can be introduced and also can be recreated. Here is the picture and short story about my trekking.

Beautiful valley

This trek begin in The Peak, in north of Bandung. I going into the trek with Timotius Setiady. The Peak is located in Parongpong village and have classy fine dining. We don't stop at the cafe and gathered in the area. First, we've going through people plantation. They plant vegetable like cabbage, lettuce in the green house

After about five minutes through the garden we found out stunning valley from uphill.  Surprisingly, it's only 5 minutes from main walk we found this. This valley is about 30 meter high, with a little mist. This makes us stop for a while to take photographed here. The trek after this was going down and down in the rocky road. I walked throughout the village, people garden and also flower garden.

On note is this is not an environmental friendly construction near the site. About 4 km south from The Peak the mountain look like being cut. There were also aloe vera in the rubber wheel. This place looks close by and pretty surreal view. The end phase of our journey is on the village and the way is going upward. About two hours we already finished the trek, pretty easy job was done!
