The place you can dream about an tropical island paradise, tortoise blue sea, laid back and serene ambiance. This island is more than just a short visit, spend two days here is perfect to explore or just having a break. Plus this villages free of cars, motorcycle noise and hassles.

My Experience

Lembongan island is a little island across Bali Island. This place is only 12 km from mainland and have had become the pleasant retreat from mainland. The Island pack with nice resort, cheap food and also plenty of white sandy beach and a lot of water activity.

The beach with Mount Agung view
On 26 July 2014 I was take this adventure to Nusa Lembongan. There are several option to go to the island and I will give the detail in my later post. I was taking the speedboat from Sanur in 9.00. The water is surprisingly high tide and frequent wave was coming. With 40 knot speed, the way to Lembongan is very bumpy and shaky. It only take 30 minutes to the island it was very swift ride to the island.

I was arrive in the beautiful day, with Mount Agung in the backdrop of the beach.  The activity start soon in about 10, first I took small boat in the dock. Here I started with snorkeling. The blue water is very clear where I can saw the coral in the bottom of the sea. The waters around Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida have at least 247 species of coral and 562 species of reef fish.

Jungutbatu Bay
After getting inside the fresh water, I went through Banana boat and Evo-3 water sport. This high speed ride on plastic boat was great. The water keep spashing and the adrenaline not as high as we ride on the boat from Sanur to Lembongan. The main star of this sea walker. Getting inside into bottom of the sea and we are inside the glass and the whole animal sea outside. It was incredible.
Surfing in Lembongan

Getting back to the beach club, I am relaxing in the side of the pool. The lunch is ready at 12.00 and after lunch I walking around the village. The resort and the village is living side by side, I really love this island. While the boat we ride was already ready embarking, I still craving for more.
