9 Memorable Experience in Thailand Journey

Every journey has own unique experience, things that we remember. Most of the time, those memory had not being plan. It just happen and it will be remembered. Here is the silly little thing that we've done.

1. River boat experience

In the middle of river trip journey

Plane, motorcycle, tuk tuk, song khew, taxi, BTS is Thai way of travelling. The Mae Kok river boat was one of the our journey trip. Going from Thaton back to Chiang Rai takes 3 hours. This river boat make us through to the sleepy village, Thaton valley , and bumpy river ride. This make our journey entitled as "advanture travel".

2. Fall off from motorcycle

In the midle of the night in Mae Salong, in the middle of little bumpy road. I am in the backseat of Albertus motorcycle, and he put the gas in maximum level. I almost fly, I jump out the seat of motorcycle. Albertus standing cool motorcycle style was at his best!

  

3. Please do not drink alcohol on board

 

Pandu was thirsty early in the morning before we took flight to Bangkok. So he decided to buy a can of Bintang. He didn't drink it until get through the boarding gate. Wait! The officer took away the can, no drink allowed in the plane.  Pandu want to finish it butt... the officer said that going on board after drink is dangerous. Pandu was pissed hahaha!

4. Share Lays and get photographed

Near the morning market, happy times

Waiting for songkheew from Mae Salong to Thaton we met a little Akha girl. They are so cute while selling some ethnic craft. I didn't want to buy those things, but I want to take photographed with them. We had plenty of Lays, and we gave them. They were very happy, seeing those happy face was great reward. And we got this cute photo!  :)

5. Plane was delayed because of us

Bring a bottle of lotion or anything liquid to the plane is bad idea. Especially when our time is very limited. Getting early to the airport, we took everything so slow. On the final gate, Radix bring bottle and we were stalled by the officer. So the announcment is already calling for us and we were running. Radix on the last finished and the plane was delayed!

6. Pallea and chicken mango salad in Chatuchak

This is the chicken mango salad, the salad is sour and sweet. Anyway its too good and I finish it already

Happy chef pouring the rice

Chatuchak is the biggest weekend market in Thailand, from antique, clothing even animal was here. This is the ideal place to find a gift and also best food around. Even you can see the Spanish big guy, dancing around the hot plate with the nice ambience music. We tried this rice and it was good. But the best is always local food, the mango chicken salad is amazing. This small plate has youngg sour mango, lettuce, and fried chicken with cilantro and lemon squeeze. It so tasty, it is the best food experience in Thailand.

7. Say your wish

Live happy, that's all we dream of right?

Go to holy places, here the story and make a wish. I am believe with this and the process itself already makes me feel more secure. In the end, is not the wish itself which need to be fullfill but the journey itself often extraordinary. The best one was getting up in Wat Arun. This steep place, the beautiful temple, and extraordinary itself already amazing. Praying wish that I always wishful of, so one wish was being done already!

8. Getting thirst in our trekking

Trekking in the middle of tea plantation. Getting through two hill in the middle of nowhere. The thing you have do is bring enough drink We've done it in Mae Salong, which has beautiful tea plantation. But when the day was hot, the path was confusing and with no drink at all the best thing Mae Salong can offer was ice drink in seven eleven! The drink became the most exceptional drink in our trip.

9. I scream for Ice Cream

To make the journey sweeter we always take ice cream in each journey.

1. Mango Ice Cream Swensen

One Mango Hurricane, with three scoop of ice cream and you add with pandan sticky rice, fragrance mango, with soft coconut and cream. So irresitable.

2. Coconut Ice Cream in Chiang Rai Bus Station

This stall is already in the bus station early in the afternoon, he was an enthuastic person. We love his passion and his ice cream. It was full of milky fragrant coconut flavour. In addition, the coconut was so soft and so tender. The nuts added on top added an extra crunchy and addictive element into this dessert.

3. Gelato beside Baan Daam

After hot day in Black House, we ate in this little cafetaria. The gelato is suprisingly good, so tender and have strong flavor. The nut ice cream was thick, its like eating nuttela but much better. Very comfort and have no one but us.

4. Es Potong in Chatuchak

This ice cream is frozen syrup. It very refreshing in hot day in Chatucak.
